More information will be posted soon.
Wheelchair-accessible restrooms near the Lawn are located in the following buildings: Bryan Hall, Garrett Hall, New Cabell Hall, Newcomb Hall, and Clemons Library.
Seating for Final Exercises
All guests attending Final Exercises will require a ticket whether the ceremony is on the Lawn or in John Paul Jones Arena. For the Lawn, individuals using wheelchairs (or guests with mobility challenges) and one companion may sit in the designated area in front of Cocke Hall. Limited seating is available in this section.
Navigating around the Grounds during Final Exercises involves a considerable amount of walking and traveling through heavily congested areas. Guests requiring assistance may wish to rent a wheelchair. Wheelchairs are not available through the University; however, they may be rented in advance from the following local companies:
- Simple Comforts Home Medical: (434) 245-0001
- Wheelchairs and Mobility Solutions: (434) 825-5222
