Listed below are numerous services offered for persons with disabilities and/or limited mobility during Finals Weekend.
Deaf/Hard of Hearing
Seating for guests who wish to use the services of a sign language interpreter will be available at all Final Exercises ceremonies. In addition, a live broadcast of the Final Exercises ceremonies will be open captioned and shown at the stadium and streaming on the Finals Weekend live webcast page. If you or a member of your family are in need of these accommodations, please contact Kristin Roush, Coordinator of Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Accessible Media Services at (434) 243-5180 or email@example.com by May 1, 2021.
Navigating around the Grounds during Finals Weekend involves a considerable amount of walking and traveling through heavily congested areas. Guests requiring assistance may wish to rent a wheelchair for Finals Weekend. Wheelchairs are not available through the University; however, they may be rented in advance from the following local companies:
- Simple Comforts Home Medical: (434) 245-0001
- Wheelchairs and Mobility Solutions: (434) 825-5222
Due to the heavy demand for rental wheelchairs, orders should be placed by no later than May 1, 2021. Click here to view the University's Accessibility Maps.
More information about accessible parking, restrooms, and guest seating at Scott Stadium is forthcoming. Please revisit this page in the coming weeks.
