About Us
The University of Virginia’s Office of Major Events manages Finals Weekend [1] and the Founder's Day [2] events annually. In addition, the office handles other special events intended for a University-wide audience, such as the Inauguration of President James E. Ryan and a recent visit from U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry. The Office of Major Events is a part of the Office of the President [3].
